
In the 70s, where the music genre and subculture Mod jungle prevails in the United Kingdom, the motorcycle became a very popular type of scooter. In the period ranging from the skinheads to grip punk adherents gush often branded Vespa and Lambretta scooters. But there is one more brand that is almost extinct and forgotten people. So, thanks to those members who managed to find Manurhin Southsiders at an auction event in France some time ago.
This motor is a version of the DKW Hobby Scooter which was built by the State of origin weapons maker named Croissant Manufacture de Machines du Haut-Rhin or who is familiarly called Manurhin. They began building a Hobby Scooter since 1956 by using multiple components of local and introduced to the audience as Manurhin MR75 in Europe and Concord in the UK.
We stopped production of the Hobby DKW, Manurhin determined to continue the process of manufacture to the sale of this scooter. The results are truly amazing! In 1957, Manurhin successfully ranked third in the back of Lambretta and Vespa scooter sales in the rows of the best in Europe.
